Jeff Sebens lives and works at the home he shares with his wife
Patricia, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Cana,Virginia. You
are welcome to come and visit but please call ahead to make sure I will
be there. 276-755-3808
You
should also know that if you are driving here, make sure you have all
of the directions since cell phones do not work once you leave the
major roads.
From the Blue Ridge Parkway
- At Orchard Gap (milepost 195), turn south and come down the mountain
towards Mount Airy. At the foot of the mountain, turn right on Ward's
Gap Rd. Go 2.7 miles and turn left on J Dock Boyd Drive. This is an old
gravel road and you will drive through a creek. Don't worry, you don't
need 4-wheel drive and you are on the right path. At the next fork take the right onto High Cliff Lane up to our home. We are the only house on this fork and the road
ends at our house.
From Mount Airy - Come
north on Hwy 52 into Virginia. Turn right on Epworth Church Rd and go
about 4 miles until it dead ends into Ward's Gap Rd. Turn left on
Ward's Gap and go about 4 miles again. At this point the road forks 3
ways. Take the hard left fork which will still be Ward's Gap Rd. Go 2.7
miles and turn left on J Dock Boyd Drive. This is an old gravel road
and you will drive through a creek. Don't worry, you don't need 4 wheel
drive and you are on the right path. At the next fork take the right onto High Cliff Lane up to our home
From I-77 - Exit at the
Fancy Gap exit (exit 8) and turn east (about 1 mile)to get on Hwy
52. Turn right (or south) on Hwy 52 and go to the foot of Fancy Gap
Mt. and turn left on Bear Trail. This road will dead end after 5.5
miles into Ward's Gap Rd. Turn left on Ward's Gap and go about 1.5
miles and turn left on J Dock Boyd Drive. This is an old gravel road
and you will drive through a creek. Don't worry, you don't need 4 wheel
drive and you are on the right path. At the next fork take the right onto High Cliff Lane up to our home.
